• Cultivates 5,000 acres and produces individually quick frozen fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes

• Electricity generated from on-site anaerobic digestion of fruit and vegetable by-products powers produce processing plant; recovered heat and steam also utilized

• Digestate applied to Stahlbush's fields as organic fertilizer, increasing microbial activity and building overall soil health

• Crop that generates the most electricity is spinach — 1,650 kWh/ton
